Happy Easter
Happy Easter everyone!
We had a pretty low key day over here ourselves. Being in a new place, and in a house that isn't ours, makes holidays a little difficult. We were able to spend the day together & make some memories, which is what really matters!
We put together a small basket for Greyson with some goodies. Dr. Seuss shape & color flash cards, Bath paints, Batman sunglasses, the movies Hop and Mr. Peabody & Sherman, and of course a few candies were all included! He of course thought he should get to eat Reese's eggs for breakfast, little goof!
And after all of the breakfast & basket excitement, we hit up the playground since the weather was beautiful & we needed to enjoy some outside time. It's always fun when dad gets to go play with us. Greyson is obsessed with daddy & showing him his big boy playground skills!
After naptime, we put a few eggs filled with treats in the small side grass area of the lodging building. He wanted to stop & eat all of the treats inside of every egg before searching for the next. And of course we had a yummy ham & potato dinner complete with bunny & chick shaped cookies!
Easter seems to always been the holiday that I let slip through the cracks or just doesn't get to be done like I imagine because were uprooted or jet lagged like last year. I'm already excited for the possibilities next year in our house!
Hope everyone had a lovely weekend with loved ones!
